Moonshot AI got on this board differently to the other four: not from a daily scan, but because Kimi K2.6 turned out to be 81% of what a real coding agent spent in four months of measured usage (see our field-notes teardown), and nobody could check whether that spend was actually cheap. At $0.95 input / $4.00 output it undercuts every OpenAI and Anthropic model here, output included — though its 4.2x output multiple sits above DeepSeek's 2x, so it is cheap, not the cheapest. K2.7 Code, the newer variant from that same invoice, is left off on purpose: our pricing source has no key from Moonshot directly for it yet, only third-party gateways, and this board only pins to the provider's own listing after a $135k/MTok garbage entry taught us why that rule exists.
