Anthropic is the most uniform board of the four: every model, from Haiku to Fable, bills output at exactly 5x input. That uniformity is the tell — on Anthropic, the invoice is not decided by the model you pick but by how long the conversation gets. Cache writes also bill at 1.25x input on a strict 5-minute TTL, and reads at ~0.1x, which is why prompt design (stable content first) is the actual money lever.
